Alicia Johal is a middle school robotics teacher and assistant director of innovation at a her K-12 school in San Diego, California. She also works in higher education, cultivating teacher candidates and graduate students before they enter the classroom. She has taught science and robotics for the last 9 years and is passionate about designing inclusive STEM programs for underserved communities. She experiences edtech through the lens of equity and is passionate about supporting language learners.
